As a Baby Shower gift for my friend Heather, I went with a spin on the "Engagement Session Guest Book" idea (where you have a book of your Engagement Photos, with plenty of white space for guests to sign at the wedding), and left room for Shower-attending friends to write notes of encouragement, or special scriptures, or whatnot amongst her maternity photos:
A book like this would also make a great "journal to baby", that the expecting Momma could write in. Or it could be used to commemorate a special birthday, say a 10th, with room for the 10-year-old to jot some notes in the white spaces. Or it could be used at a HS Senior Grad Party, for friends and family to document memories and/or notes of encouragement. Or or or... the list goes on and on!
