Family: The G's

While Amber and her fam were over in our neck of the woods for Peter's brother's wedding this weekend, we were able to slip in a mini family session! We met the G Family in Liberia, West Africa, when we were both bringing our sons home a couple years ago, and there's a permanent spot carved out in our hearts for them.

Um... Not sure what's going on in this one? I think I asked everyone to tell me how old they were, and Peter was trying to help Henry say, "Two."...? Ha ha!

I had fun playing with some different processing on these:

Peter, Amber, Joanna, and Henry: We love you soooo much! This visit was waaay too short, but we'll take whatever we can get!

Wedding: Drew & Danielle

What a day! My dear friend, Amber, invited me to shoot her Brother-in-Law's wedding with her today, and we had more fun than the law allows! I can't wait to go through all these... lots more to come!

Family: The F's

Meet big sisters Katelyn and Olivia...

...and little sister Brynna:

The whole crew:

Laurel is one of those Moms who always seems to have her ducks in a row. Wanna know what got this big grin on Katelyn's face? It's not a question of what, but who. Laurel hired a sitter to come along and help wrangle kids, haul gear, and even hold the reflector now and then. Thanks, Amber! We owe a lot of the smiles from this session to you. And thanks, Laurel, for having the smarts to bring her along!

We paused for a break at this water fountain. There's just something about this candid moment that I love:

I was thrilled with the reflection of the Market in the window. I LOVE all the color in this one! I'll definitely be re-visiting this spot:

Thanks, F Family!

Couple: Ben and Jess (Part II)

Among their many other talents, Ben and Jess are great dancers! Here are a few images from Part II of their 10th Anniversary Shoot:

I didn't hear it, but Jess said some guy on the street yelled, "It won't last!" Ha ha! Next time we'll have to carry a banner that says, "We're celebrating 10 years" or something. ;0) Maybe that guy is what they're laughing about here:

For those of you who want to see even more, and for those of you who have been curious about how the online galleries work, I'm giving the world the password to this album so it can serve as an example. Feel free to check it out! Just go to the "Client Galleries" tab on my website, and enter the password "sample". For the record, I normally only load 25-50 images, but this was a special situation, and was more like two sessions in reality, so there are... gulp... 125. ;0)

Couple: Ben & Jess

I had the absolute privilege of helping my cousin Ben and his wife Jessica commemorate their 10th Anniversary! They are a beautiful picture (pun intended) of what real love looks like. These two are the kind that make you just wanna shut up and listen when you're in their presence, because they have soooo much good stuff to say! I love learning from them. Ben is always telling me which novel I should read next (check out his book review blog!), and Jess is a fellow artsy-type. Her latest addiction is to cake making and decorating. Check out her Jessicakes blog. It will blow your mind!

We kind of did two back-to-back sessions, so I'll share these in two different posts. First up were the casual photos:

Stay tuned for Part 2:

Roses, Rhodies, and More

I lingered after a few recent park sessions to snap pics of some of the gorgeous flowers, and thought I'd share a few favs:
