I could post a million pics of these guys. Okay, maybe not a million, but hundreds. Definitely hundreds. They're just such a cute family! We so enjoyed having Gena (my hubby's sister) and her fam visit... We hiked. We crabbed. Corey and I smoked 'em in Pictionary. It was the best of times! ;0) Here are a FEW more from their session:

I can't decide which processing "recipe" I prefer on the following image. Oh--I've given these "recipes" names, now. ;0) More on that in another post. For now, here's this pic in "poppins" (inspired by Mary Poppins, which makes me think of bright, vibrant colors--I have my childhood Mary Poppins record pages framed in our guest bedroom, and I just LOVE them!):

And here's the same pic in "prairie" (inspired by Little House on the Prairie, for it's soft, vintage, yellow/brown feel):

(If you see me or e-mail me anytime soon, tell me which one you prefer!)

(FYI: The above "recipe" is called "pumpernickel", because I love pumpernickel bagels, and because the first one I ever had was in Pennsylvania, and both the bagels and the tall brick homes lining the narrow streets there remind me of this color and feel.)

I LOVED their outfits! Way to go, Gena!!! This pic is just a riot of color, and makes me smile. Big.

One of my favs. I just love how simple and crisp it is:

Oh, how I love all the fun reactions in this one! Precious:

One from inside Le Shoppe:

This was my first time shooting at the beach. I was hoping for a magnificent sunset, but we just had fog. It sure made for some cool reflections, and ethereal backdrops, though! (I'd love to do some more sessions at the coast. Any takers?)

Matt and Gena: THANK YOU for the privilege of capturing your sweet, fun family!! I hope these bring a big smile, and maybe even a few chuckles. Love you!
