Family: The B's

When I shot the B's and C's Family Session, Steven had to scoot out a bit early, so I met up with the B's again Sunday night to stroll a few blocks and get Steven into a few more pics... I think this one of Liz laughing might just be my favorite image I've ever captured. It's definitely up there:

I'd sure love to know what Carol said to Liz here:

Family: The S's

I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful Momma and her two gorgeous girls last Saturday. We went to a Rhododendron Park that's in full bloom, and it was a perfect backdrop! I kept trying to pepper Stacey for parenting advice in-between shots, because their girls (3 and 5) are incredibly well-behaved. One of my major goals when doing sessions is that it will be FUN! So it made my day when, as they were leaving, Alicia (the 5-year-old; pictured above) gave me a huge grin and called over her shoulder while waving good-bye, "See you next time, Jamie!" Sounds good to me, Alicia. ;0) Here are a few more favs from the S's Session:

Now, I usually have a strong preference between color, b&w, sepia, or some other finish with any given image, but I just couldn't decide with this next one, so I'm posting three versions of the same pic. I love them all!

Family: The B's and C's (Part II)

Here are some more favs from my session with the B's and C's...

Dan (on the right) and his wife, Liz, are good friends and ministry partners of ours. It is a beautiful thing to see them loving on their Moms and Dads. It challenges me to honor mine more! I wish I could have gotten video of this session... truly, seeing their love in action is inspiring.

Speaking of seeing, I get to see this lovely smile beaming at me every Sunday morning! Barbara sings in our church Worship Band:

More on this school bus later...

Here's Liz, with her Mother-in-Law, Carol:

Okay, so it seems like I'm always getting into one wild photography adventure or another... There were boy scouts as far as the eye could see at the park where we shot these pics. One of the troops had a bus, so of course I couldn't resist finding their leader and getting permission to climb aboard:

Even more fun than the school bus is Scott, Liz's Dad. When I asked him to walk toward me, hand in hand with Barbara, he opted for skipping:

Scott is responsible for the craziness in the next couple shots as well:

I let them all lie back and relax for the last shot:

Thanks for a SUPER fun session, B's and C's! I hope you love 'em!!
